Questions?

When I ask
Are you okay?
I receive a reply.
A weak one, yes,
But a reply nonetheless.

When I ask
What did you do?
I am greeted by a smirk
A sneer
But a reply, at the very least.

But I ask
Who are you?
And my mouth forms no reply.
I don't know.

  1. Ok, so you have the 5-line stanza thing going with the first two, but I think there's real power in cutting it off at 4 on the last one. It kinda hits the reader in the face, you know?

  2. So...I'm just wondering, is this poem the narrator talking to themselves?

    If so, AWESOME!

    If no, STILL AWESOME!

    Favorite line right there^^^

Also, you spelled greeted as "gretted" :)
