Tongue Tied

Watch your tongue
Mind your words
And think before
you speak

There are people
Armed with pitchforks
Ready to twist
your words completely

Words that
On many occasion
Are fragile
Useless coffins

Words that flop
Flapping in the wind
Shooed away
Without much thought

But walls have ears
And words that fall
Carelessly free
May be deadly

Watch your tongue
Mind your words
And think before
you speak

**super bad today** Ash

  1. The day was bad??? not the poem--the peppy beat juxtaposed with the topic--wow--my favorite line, "Words that
    On many occasion
    Are fragile
    Useless coffins"
    what a great image!

  2. This was definitely not "super bad"! I really enjoyed it. My favorite portion was:

    "There are people
    Armed with pitchforks
    Ready to twist
    your words completely"

The imagery was really wonderful, especially with how you manipulated "words" into different metaphors :)
